What We Do

Commercial Millwork & Finish Carpentry
in Chicago

Millwork and finish carpentry are what tenants, guests, and residents notice first. Joints, reveals, and alignment either look right or they don’t.

Our carpenters install and finish commercial millwork and trim for building owners, property managers, and design teams, from lobbies and amenity spaces to offices and residential corridors.

Scope
  • Reception desks and feature millwork
  • Wall paneling and wainscoting
  • Casework, cabinetry, and built-ins
  • Door, frame, and hardware installation
  • Base, casing, crown, and trim
  • Lobby, amenity, and corridor finish carpentry
  • Coordination of shop drawings and fabrication
Our Process

Walkthrough to Punch List

For millwork, we confirm shop drawings, field dimensions, and finish samples early, so the pieces arrive fitting the space instead of the other way around.

  1. 01

    Walkthrough

We walk the space with you, the property manager, or the design team. We note existing conditions, building rules, access, and anything that affects schedule before we price it.

  2. 02

    Bid

You get a written, line-item bid that shows what our own crews perform and what is subcontracted, with clear inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.

  3. 03

    Schedule

We build the schedule around your lease dates, tenant move-ins, and building hours, then hold it with our own crews instead of waiting on outside trades.

  4. 04

    Punch List

We walk the finished work with you, close every punch item, and hand over the documentation the building and the tenant need.

Occupied Buildings

Working Around Your
Tenants and Residents

Finish carpentry often happens in lobbies, corridors, and amenity spaces that stay open. We protect surrounding finishes and keep work areas tidy and safe for passers-by.

After-hours work

Noisy and disruptive work is scheduled for evenings, nights, or weekends when the building requires it.

COIs on request

Certificates of insurance naming the owner, manager, and any additional insureds the building requires — before we mobilize.

Building rules

We work to the building’s rules on freight elevators, loading docks, deliveries, work hours, and contractor sign-in.

Protecting common areas

Floor and wall protection along every path of travel, dust control at the work area, and clean common areas at the end of each shift.

Self-Performed

Why Self-Performing
Matters

Finish carpentry and millwork are trades our own carpenters perform, so the person checking the reveal is the same person who installed it.

When the crew on site works for us, the schedule is ours to hold. We don't wait for an outside trade to fit us in, quality is checked by the same people who did the work, and you have one point of contact for the whole job instead of a chain of subcontractors.
