32 Build is a licensed Chicago general contractor with 18+ years of experience in residential renovation, multifamily repositioning, commercial buildouts, and ground-up construction. We operate as a full-service contractor for homeowners, real estate investors, and developers — and as a finish trade subcontractor for other general contractors.
All of our core trades are performed in-house: finish carpentry, tile, hardwood floors, drywall, painting, cabinet installation, and rough framing. For full-scope projects, we self-perform where it matters and manage vetted subcontractors for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.
Our client base spans homeowners undertaking their first major renovation, real estate investors managing Chicago-area portfolios, developers building on infill lots, and general contractors who need a reliable finish trade crew for their projects. Each type of client gets the same standard of execution — the scope and communication adapt to what each relationship requires.
We hold a City of Chicago General Contractor license and an Illinois general contractor license. We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance on every project, and we manage the full permit process — applications, plan submittals, inspections, and certificate of occupancy — so clients don't have to navigate the city building department on their own.
