A standard bathroom floor and shower tile project takes 7–10 working days including cure times. Kitchen backsplash tile typically takes 1–2 days. Larger custom tile scopes can take 2–3 weeks. For Old Town projects specifically, we also factor in any local logistics — building access, parking restrictions, and neighbor coordination — into the project schedule from day one. We don't give start dates until permits are approved and materials are confirmed, so the schedule we commit to is one we can actually keep.

Yes — 32 Build manages the full permit process on every project. Old Town projects are permitted through the City of Chicago Department of Buildings. Townhome and HOA properties require association approval in addition to city permits. 32 Build handles both processes, coordinating with building management on the client's behalf. We submit the permit application, coordinate plan review, schedule all required inspections, and handle any correction notices from the building department. Clients don't need to interact with the permit office at all — that's our job.

Yes. 32 Build holds an active City of Chicago General Contractor license and is licensed to work throughout Chicago and Chicagoland. We carry a minimum of $1M general liability and workers' compensation insurance on every project. We can provide a certificate of insurance and proof of licensure before work begins — just ask when you reach out.
